This crochet pattern is for a 30+ page pdf download which comes with 4 parts: the block squares, the bear, the fox and the moose. You can download the patterns as soon as you have checked out. This is not a listing for the blocks themselves
These blocks will create unique educational toys for whomever is lucky enough to receive them. Montessori learning with a focus on colours, animals, textures, stacking, and all things adorable.
It will make the three cutest 10cm x 10cm (4”) blocks using the same size yarn and hook as listed.
The patterns are full of pictures and assembly details and are appropriate for all crochet levels. It includes many resources for various techniques used. It is written in standard US terms.
You will need:
- 3.25mm (D) hook sport weight (size 2) yarn in a variety of colours to achieve the animals and the block sides
- polyfill
- tapestry needle
- stitch markers
- 8 & 10mm safety eyes optional
- 11mm safety nose optional
- cardboard optional
The amount of yarn used for each animal head is minimal. The blocks take up the bulk of the yarn you will use.
