Red/Purple Colourway 706 Falling Blossom x 2 (3) balls
Blue/Green Colourway 731 Dappled Sunlight x 2 (3) balls
• 4.5mm crochet hook

Youth Head Circumference 50.5cm (20in) | Beret diameter 25cm (9 3/4in) | Head opening diameter 7cm (2 3/4in)
Adult Head Circumference 56cm (22in) | Beret diameter 27cm (10 1/2in) | Head opening diameter 8cm (3 1/4in)

24 sts and 24 rows to measure 10 x 10cm over Ribbing Swatch using a 4.5mm hook (swatch instructions included in pattern)

Pattern Notes

This is an advanced level pattern.

Beret is made vertically, flat, in one piece. Repeated Panels are connected as you go.
Stitch pattern is created using short rows and slip-stitch variations integrated into Ribbing. To finish, sew up seam.
Work fch loosely or use a hook 0.5mm bigger.
Work into back bumps when working into fch; all other sts are worked in blo unless otherwise specified.
Turn work clockwise at end of each short row.
Where relevant, total st count in corrent row (shown in bold in pattern and rem st count of row below are given at end of rows.
Beg ch1 does not count as st throughout.
