“Candace’s Cables” is a warm winter set which includes matching hat and cowl. The pattern includes instructions for both the cowl and the Candace’s Cables Hat.

The hat is ringed in a variety of cables and crowned with a welt. The cowl size can be easily adjusted. Since the worsted weight yarn is worked at a tight gauge, the pieces are warm and will hold their shape. The cables will look best in solid or semi-solid yarn with good stitch definition.

Stitch patterns are provided in both written and charted form. Each hat and cowl shown used less than one skein of yarn.

Skills needed: Following a stitch pattern, working in the round.
