Candella Poncho
This pattern is worked in one piece and uses a simple lace pattern with a looser than usual needle size to create a light feel with a nice drape.
The Candella Poncho Pattern can be made in two options:
- A single strand using fingering weight/4ply yarn - approximately 950 meters required, 3 Skeins of Spritzer Handdyed Yarn/100g/4ply.
- Knitting 2 strands together ie, one strand of fingering weight - approximately 950 meters, and one strand of a fine mohair - approximately 950 meters. 3 Skeins of Spritzer handdyedyarn/100g/4ply and 3 balls of Naturally Delight Mohair 25g.
Finished Dimensions: are 45cm drape from shoulder for the single strand version, and 55cm drape from the shoulder for the double strand version.
5.5mm needles are used for the single strand version, and 6.5mm needles for the double strand version.
There are two border stitch options, Moss stitch and Linen stitch. Blocking will be required for a nice finish if using the Linen stitch.
