CONSTRUCTION

The top is worked sideways in two pieces (front and back) which are seamed at the shoulders. One short-row pattern repeat is worked at each side to create the armhole; the side joining is worked as-you-go. An extra stitch pattern repeat is added to the back to create a higher back neck.

MATERIALS

  • Yarn: Malabrigo Arroyo; sport weight; 335 yards / 306 m per 100 g skein; 100% Superwash Merino Wool in shade Cereza
  • Hook: U.S. 7 (4.5 mm)
  • Yarn needle to weave in ends
  • Stitch markers
