This pattern contains English description of crocheting the Candlestick toucan.

Toy stand independently. I stuffed the base of the candlestick with granulate for greater stability, you can add some grits, small pebbles or something else that can make the base heavier. And I decided to sew the toucans, but you can make them removable, for example, with Velcro or buttons.

You need for work:

1. Sport weight/4 ply yarn Yarnart Jeans (50 g/160 m, cotton 55%, acrylic 45%):

• gray No.46 (candlestick, candle - half a skein);
• black No.53 (body, head, wings - 1/3 a skein);
• white No.01 (eyes, breast - a little);
• yellow No.35 (part of beak, light - a little);
• green No.29 (part of beak - a little);
• orange No.23 (part of beak and candles - a little);
• ginger No.85 (part of beak - a little);
• turquoise No.55 (part of beak - a little);
• blue No.76 (part of beak - a little);
• brown No.70 (nest - a little).

1. Hook. I used hook size 1,6 mm as the main; 2,5 mm - when crocheting in 2 threads.
2. Fiberfill or any other toy filling. Granulate - for the base of the candlestick (optional)
3. Eyes. Half-beads or safety eyes size 14 mm.
4. Wire, insulating tape. Wire with a diameter of 3 mm. Insulating tape (optional).
5. Felt. Hard felt of any color size 2 cm14 cm and 2 cm18 cm.
