Candy Buttons shawl is a symmetric triangle shawl using a slip stitch pattern for the main body, and a sweet 1940s vintage edging pattern along one edge. An optional assigned pooling pattern can be incorporated in the contrast color using German short rows. Instructions are both written and charted.

Level: Intermediate/ Adventurous beginner. This pattern is primarily knits and purls, but there is also an interesting purl side increase (make one left purl) to help you expand your increase stitch knowledge! The lace pattern is a 10 row repeat with knit 2 togethers, yarn overs, and wrap and turns.
