This is the companion to the Baby Elf Hat . I made it for my sister in law’s Christmas baby, whose sex was a surprise. It’s a simple pattern, made to look like a candy cane with red and white stripes. It’s perfect for newborn photos or to keep baby warm. The cocoon is approximately 17.5 inches wide and 14 inches long, just long enough to fit baby in without covering the face.
