These christmas candy canes are perfect for decorating your home at christmas - small and easy crochet projects.

Size
The size of each finished candy cane is about 10,5-11 cm.

Yarn
The candy canes are only made from the standard yarn cotton 8/4 (50 g = about 170 m). You can use any brand of yarn you like, or any type of yarn that matches the hook size - however this affects the size of the finished candy cane. I have used red and white yarn, you can see how much I used here:
For 1 of each candy cane (6 candy canes in total) you need:
Red yarn: about 12 g
White yarn: about 14 g
For 3 of each candy cane (18 candy canes in total) you need:
Red yarn: about 36 g
White yarn: about 41 g

Crochet hook
2,0-2,5 mm/US size B-1
If you are used to using a different sized hook for cotton 8/4 you can do that, but it might have a small impact on the size of the finished product, and the needed amount of yarn. You can check the crochet tension in the pattern to make sure you have the right sized hook.

Besides yarn, you will also need

• Needle to weave in the ends
• Scissor
• Pipe cleaner, 30 cm, diameter: 6 mm - you need 1 of these for each candy cane
