This pattern is inspired by Christmas Candy Canes and Christmas trees. The Candy cane pattern is worked right down to the toe on the front of the sock.

It is written as a top down sock with heel flap and gusset instructions. The Cable panel pattern is written out in full as well as charted.

This pattern is written so that you can choose the number of stitches that you normally use to make socks. I have calculated the stitch pattern for 56 (60, 64, 68 and 72) stitches.

The pattern includes some cables, which normally means you need to cast on more stitches to get the correct size. However, the pattern takes this into account by adding an additional 4 stitches in the pattern repeat.
