The Candy fluff slouch socks are made using alternate stripes of mohair silk (held double) and a fingering weight sock yarn. The stripes create a slouchy leg, perfect for poking out the top of boots and clogs for a feminine touch!
Starting with a picot cuff, the sock is worked cuff down using simple lace and stockinette stripes, the amount of stipes is customizable to make the socks longer but note this will effect the amount of yarn needed.. the pattern is written using a heel flap and gusset and a wedge toe but can be easily substituted for your preferred method.
The pattern is written for a 64 stitch count but more or less repeats can be used for your chosen size.

The pattern uses 50gms (210m) of fingering weight sock yarn, this can be one special skein, solid speckled or varigated would be lovely or the pattern lends itself to a mini set or leftover scraps and 15gms (126m) of lace weight mohair which is held double throughout the stripes. The mohair silk can be substituted for a suri-alpaca if you are sensitive to mohair but still want some fluff!

the 2 pairs shown are knit with:
Beehive yarns Audrey sock base. Colourway - Backwoods Barbie and drops kid silk- medium pink.
Elderflower stitches fingering mini fade set Colourway- Buttermint. Drops kid silk- off white.
