These striped cloths make fun use of those brightly coloured cottons that might seem overwhelming as a solid. Also a great way to use up leftovers and make it multi-striped!

A Crochet Cast-on, slipped stitches & knit cast-off make a chain look edge all the way around. The texture on either side works for gentle scrubbing!

I created this cloth for the Annual Holiday Market held at my son’s school (West-Mont Montessori). The holiday market is one of the favourite Westmont traditions. It is a significant fundraiser and an opportunity for students of all ages to independently shop for their families, with the assistance of parent volunteers and student helpers for our younger shoppers!

Items for the students to purchase consist of donations made by families, whether they are handmade or purchased items. My dishcloths were either bundled in 3s or sold wrapped around handmade soap. These make excellent hostess gifts!

Proceeds from pattern sales will be going to the school.
