In my opinion, scarves do not really need a gauge. You can add as many rows across to get the desired width, as well as the desired length.

In all honesty, at the moment I can’t find out the kind of yarn I used, but I believe it was Paton’s Classic Merino and the size of needles I used were what was recommended on the ball band.
