Description: Knit your favorite preserves into this canning themed towel—fill quarts, pints and half-pints with fresh colors from the garden. The towel is worked seamlessly in mosaic garter stitch, just one strand of color works every two rows while the other strand rests at the edge. The sample gauge and dimensions are provided in a light worsted weight cotton. Choose colors that contrast well. Try your camera’s “black & white” setting to look at your yarns in gray-scale and check the contrast between color selections. The pattern provides full written instructions with (optional) positive and negative charts for making useful household linens and gifts.
