The mitts are inspired by the comic book hero Hawkeye (and Hawkguy). Best archers in the world, they can’t miss.
One of my favorite runs of the comics is the Fraction/Aja run. The covers have a really great graphic aesthetic and I choose these aesthetic for the mitts.

The motives of the mitts are worked up in roositude inlay. This is a really fun way to add colour to any knitting and fully explained in the pattern.

The mitts work best in three colours, but you can choose to add more, one as the main colour and two as contrast colours.

Size: 15, 18, 20 cm (6, 7, 8 inches) hand circumference. Measured around widest part of hand!

Needles: 3.5mm (US 4) circular needles or DPN

Yarn: 125 meters (137 yards) DK weight, shown in Wetterhoff Sofia in black, as main colour and app. 2 times 10g DK weight yarn (80m / 87 yards) for the contrast colours
