The Canyon Light Socks are the perfect pair of dk weight socks that can be knit up quickly as gifts or brought along for a relaxing knit at an outing. The pattern along the top of the foot is easy to memorize and creates a cascade of slip stitches down the foot that remind me of light beams that split over a canyon ridge. <3

YARN REQUIREMENTS
My yarn recommendations are just approximations. You’re total yarn usage will depend on the yarn you use and any modifications you may make. But I find that one skein of DK weight yarn is plenty for a pair of socks.

SUGGESTED YARN
I knit these in a Madeline Tosh DK, but you can use any other DK weight yarn you have! I love the way the slipped stitches look with a variegated yarn, but I would love to see all the different variations that you can make!

SUGGESTED NEEDLES
US 2.5 (3mm) - 32”/80 cm circular for Magic Loop
or
US 2.5 (3mm) double pointed needles

NOTIONS
stitch markers, tapestry needle, and scissors.

I’d love to see your finished socks!
