A soft cap with a simple and striking design, designed to fit an average size teen or adult head. Best knit up in a solid or semi-solid yarn to let the stitches shine. Meant to have a close beanie fit without being too tight. The pattern gives tutorial links for an unusual knit picot chain CO and basic brioche stitches. Originally developed as a chemo cap, it can be made to suit any wearer depending on your choice of yarn

S and M. Directions are written for S with changes for M in parentheses: S (M). S fits brow circumference from 18-20” (46-51cm) and M fits brow circumference from 21-23” (53cm-58cm). Finished size after blocking: S = 7” (18 cm) high x 7.75” (20cm) wide, M = 7.75” (20cm) high x 9.75” (25 cm) wide.
