The instructions include directions to make individual Cape Cod themed 10” x 10” squares which are then sewn together to create an afghan in the square or rectangular size of your choice. Examples of squares are “Rail Trail”, “Woods Hole Chop” and “My Heart Belongs to Cape Cod”.

Each skein of Cascade 220 will be enough to create two different squares. Our sample throw (30” x 40”) contains 12 squares and was created using six different colors of 220.

The following are sizes and yardage requirements:
Car Seat Blankie - 20” x 20” - 440 yards.
Crib Blanket - 30” x 30” - 990 yards.
Throw - 30” x 40” - 1320 yards.
Afghan - 40” x 50” - 2200 yards.
