This doll capelet pattern is worked sideways and uses short rows. The pattern can easily be lengthened and/or widened for bigger dolls. A bigger capelet will take more than 1 ball of 3-strand floss.
A magnifier could be helpful to assure all 3 floss strands are caught in each stitch.

The pattern uses standard U.S. knitting abbreviations.

Note: the gauge is in garter stitch, not the usual stockinette stitch.

The doll model is Fairyland’s RealFee.

1 5g/29yard ball of Valdani 3 strand floss will make a capelet. Variegated floss can add interest to the garter stitch pattern.
