This cape is perfect to wear in spring over a light jacket or, why not, on a cool summer evening. It starts from the neck, and it is knitted in the round until the border, which is worked transversally in rows. The initial and the final edges of the lace border are not joined, but they form a small slit that gives ease of movement.

Yarn: 200 (250, 300) g of Mondial Super Kid Merino (75% merino wool, 25% kid mohair; 50g=130m).
Needles and materials: 3.5mm and 4mm circular needles 40cm long, 4mm circular needles 80cm long, one stitch marker, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 10cm = 22 stitches and 29 rows worked in stockinette stitch.
Sizes: S (M, L). The cape is 35 (37, 40) cm long, with a neck circumference of 50 (53, 56) cm and a bottom circumference of approximately 114 (123, 132) cm, before the lace border.
Level of difficulty: intermediate.

Questa cappa è perfetta da indossare in
primavera sopra ad un giubbino leggero o,
perché no, anche in una fresca sera d’estate. Si
inizia dal collo, lavorando in tondo, per poi rifinire
la parte finale con un bordo a punto traforato
lavorato trasversalmente. Avvio e chiusura del
bordo non vengono uniti ma lasciati liberi per
formare un piccolo spacco e garantire maggiore
agio di movimento.
