I designed this blanket pattern inspired by a documentary on Cappadocia in Turkey. Even though I have never been there myself I was immediately fascinated by these beautiful hot air balloons floating above a wonderful landscape.

For the blanket you can choose between two different versions: classic overlay mosaic technique or overlay combined with tapestry to make it even more colorful.
The pattern contains general information and charts for both techniques, a sample piece including a short video tutorial and written out instructions for the first 10 rows.
You will also find yarn recommendations and instructions for two different types of envelope borders to get a beautiful clean finish.
I recommend using gradient yarn for the background and solid colors for the balloons.

Für die Decke kann man zwischen zwei Varianten wählen: die klassische Overlay Mosaik Technik oder Overlay in Kombination mit Tapestry, um noch mehr Farben ins Spiel zu bringen.
Die Anleitung beinhaltet allgemeine Informationen und Häkeldiagramme zu beiden Techniken, ein kleines Probestück inklusive eines kurzen Videotutorials und ausgeschriebene Anweisungen für die ersten 10 Reihen.
Außerdem gibt es Garnempfehlungen und Erklärungen für zwei verschieden gestaltete Ränder, so dass man ein wunderschönes sauberes Endergebnis erhält. Für den Hintergrund empfehle ich Farbverlaufsbobbel zu verwenden, für die Ballons Unifarben.
