The slip stitch pattern means that you are only ever working with one colour at a time - but the results look super impressive.

Because it only uses a small amount of aran weight yarn it is perfect for using up leftovers too.

This cowl is snug, intended to be a single cosy layer close to the neck. The recommended needle size for this yarn is 5mm but I found the slip stitches made this a little too dense. 5.5mm worked for me - you might want to check you are happy with the fabric you are getting with a swatch.
