Material:

  • Worsted and Bulky weights are the predominant yarns in this collection.
  • 16” circular needle sizes 5, 6, 7, 8, or 10½ and dpns in same size—whatever needle gets gauge.

Sizes:

There are ten cap patterns in sizes from toddlers to adults. In addition, some caps have scarves or mittens to match.

Gauge: Gauge ranges from 4 sts = 1” to 5 sts = 1”

Skill level: Advanced beginner to intermediate

Even though the title of the pattern specifies “gals,” many of the patterns are unisex. For those who knit for the community, there are especially warm caps, especially Anja’s “Helmet with Flaps.”
