A very cozy cardigan, but not a heavy one. It makes me think of deep winter. It also reminds us that winter, even COLD winters can be stylish! This cardigan is slightly cropped but it can be made longer if this is not the desired look. I was actually inspired by the “military” type jackets that are “in” this fall (2010). I would rate this pattern as intermediate because of the variety of techniques used. The sleeves are picked up and knit in the round, the rest of the sweater pieces are knit flat.
