Capulet
This pattern is currently in testing!
Here is a playful spring and summer top down raglan piece featuring cap sleeves and an elegant lace front panel. The pattern is written with an airy gauge, making it a quick knit project for easy gratification and maximizing yardage efficiency. That being said - swatching is recommended to find a light, fluffy fiber blend and type to ensure your piece provides good coverage and comfortable drape. I encourage checking the recommended gauge on the ball tag or a site such as Yarnsub to see how closely your choice will match. For example, Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair has a recommended gauge of 18 stitches in 10 cm. The gauge for this top is 16 stitches in 10 cm; therefore, the fabric created will have a little less structure. Too large of a discrepancy, or fiber that is too dense, will result in fabric that tends to sag.
Lighter density fibres to look for: blown yarns, alpaca, mohair, cashmere, acrylic
Higher density fibres to avoid (unless you REALLY love them): cotton, linen, silk
Notes on using this pattern:
Please skim through the pattern in its entirety BEFORE printing. There are different charts plus written instructions for different sizes so you’d probably prefer only to print what you need instead of all 26 pages!
Read through the pattern in its entirety BEFORE knitting, making notes where needed, especially if you are customizing the fit
