This is a pattern for an adorable capybara! It includes the pattern for a tiny orange to go with him. They work up quickly and would be great for market prep!

This is a no-sew crochet pattern, so it’s made entirely in one piece.

This pattern is written in English using US terms.

You will need:
○ Chenille yarn in 2 shades of brown (weight 6)
○ I used Parfait Chunky in Acorn and Apricot
○ Thin black yarn for embroidering eyes and nose
○ 4.5 mm crochet hook
○ stuffing

For the orange you will also need orange and green yarn (I used Parfait Chunky Tangerine and Pistachio).

You will need to know the following stitches/techniques:
○ single crochet
○ half double crochet
○ single crochet increases
○ single crochet decreases
○ working in the front loop only
○ bobble stitch
