Lucia Cardigan

The Lucia Cardigan is knitted from the top down in stockinette stitch. It begins with the back, shaped using German short rows, and continues down to the armholes. The fronts are then worked separately to the armholes.

Next, the fronts and back are joined, and the body is worked to the desired length. Finally, the button band, neckline, and sleeves are knitted.

The Lucia Cardigan features a lovely finishing detail: a knitted bias tape, worked separately and then sewn over the inside seam, adding structure and stability to the cardigan while creating a clean, refined finish.

The suggested positive ease is 16–28 cm / 6.3–11.0”, but you can adjust it according to your personal preference.
