OVERVIEW:

1. Level: Advanced beginner - Intermediate
2. Language: English, using US knitting terms
3. The cardigan is worked in 5 pieces: Back, 2 Front panels and 2 sleeves. Each piece is worked bottom up, separately and then sewn together.

GAUGE: (Approximate) 18 stitches and 23 rows = 4x4 inches 10x10 cm in stocking stitch with 4.5mm needles.

MATERIALS & TOOLS

1. Option 1: Two threads of Alize Real 40 yarn held together, color No.05 (brown): 550 (550, 600, 650, 700, 750) grams. Note: You also could choose another yarn brand, make sure that the yarn is Fingering (or 4ply) and the yarn weight is about 530m/ 100g. Option 2: Use one thread of Nako Elit Baby: 550 (550, 600, 650, 700, 750) grams. Note: You also could choose another yarn brand, make sure that the yarn is DK (or 8ply) and the yarn weight is about 250m/ 100g.
2. Size 4mm (length: 80 cm) circular knitting needles
3. Size 4.5mm (length: 60cm to 80cm) circular needles or a pair of 4.5mm straight needles.
4. 4 two-and- a-half-centimeters buttons
5. Scissors
6. Tapestry needle
7. Measuring tape
8. Two knitting markers
