Please note that the charts have been updated so the colorwork is slightly different than pictured.
This pattern is knitted bottom up, sewing on the sleeves separately. The front and back use the same chart and the sleeves use the same chart. All charts are included at the end of this pattern.
The colorwork is stranded, but there are large skips. I chose to tack my yarn every 3 sts when the skips are larger than 5. You can also choose to do the colorwork as intarsia.
The black details on the cardinals are added back in with duplicate stitch.
