As a designer, I love exploring new stitches — ones that are easy to knit yet unique and beautiful in their
own way. While creating this pattern, I was experimenting with textures and rhythms when something
unexpected happened: once the stitch came together, it instantly reminded me of a heartbeat — those
gentle peaks and valleys that echo the ECG lines from a doctor’s monitor. Curious, I shared a sneak peek
on social media and asked my friends for name suggestions. To my delight, many of them saw the same
thing I did — heartbeats! With that shared inspiration, the name Cardiograph was born. Simple, rhythmic,
and full of life — just like the steady pulse that keeps us going.
