This simple sweater is named after one of my fiber besties (Danni Carmela) and has all the features of some of our favorite sweater styles….a split hem, drop shoulder and positive ease (with an option for a cropped fit). Knit with a very special Mill Spun yarn that was hand dyed by Sam from Lavender Lune Yarn Co. this is truly a tribute to some of my favorite fiber friends and has quickly become one of my most loved and wearable hand knit sweaters.

Notes
This sweater is worked from the bottom up, beginning with the front and back hems worked flat separately. The hems are then joined in the round and the body is knit in the round to the underarms. The front and back are separated again, worked flat separately, working short rows to shape the shoulders. The shoulders are seamed using three needle bind off method, and the sleeves and collar stitches are picked up and worked in the round.
