Carnaby Street in London’s bohemian Soho is famous for its fashionable inexpensive boutiques. and was at the cutting edge of street fashion in the 1960’s. One of my most memorable images of that time was the pinafore dress worn with polo neck and tights in a contrasting color and knee-high boots. In this dress I’m trying to recreate this look. If the cut-out squares reveal a little too much for you, it would look just as good without them.
