The Carolina mitts pattern is designed as an easy knit. The Fisherman’s Rib adds an interesting detail whilst the ease of the knit is a good introduction to circular knitting.

Full instructions for working the Fisherman’s Rib pattern are included.

The Carolina mitts are knitted seamlessly in the round, from the ribbed cuff to the fingers. There’s some shaping for the thumb gusset, which requires use of increase stitches M1L and M1R.
