Caroline Hat is inspired by my sweet friend Caroline. Knit in the round with two kinds of swirling cables, Caroline Hat has ribbing for a stretchy, cozy fit. Perfect accessory for sweater weather seasons and adding style to your fall and winter wardrobe.

Pattern Information
Knit in the round on circular needles or double pointed needles. Pattern for 4 sizes 16”, 18”, 20” and 22” circumference of head with negative ease for snug fit.

Yarn & Supplies
1 skein (approx 200 yards/183 meters) of worsted weight yarn. Sample made with Little Fox Yarn Fennec in flat ridge color.
Pompom (optional)

Hat length is 8”/20cm from cast on edge (can add 1”/3cm extra before the decreases for longer length but that will affect yardage).

Needles
Size US 5/3.75 mm and US 6/4.0mm 16”/40cm circular or dpns or longer circular for magic loop or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge
38 stitches and 28 rows in 2 x 2 rib (K2, P2) = 4”/10cm unstretched on size US 10/6.0mm needle or size needed to obtain gauge. Please take the time to check the gauge.
