I’m a yarn dyer. With the idea for this stole on my mind and little time to knit, my friend Caroline was kind enough to knit the stole for me - and work out the details - hence the name.

We are offering this pattern free here on Ravelry. If you are able to, please donate to the American Cancer Society, http://www.cancer.org

The stole is knitted in alternating sections with Canyon and Sea yarns (one skein of each). Sea is shinny, Canyon has a subtle sheen, both yarns together provide a very attractive contrast. Also, Sea is fine fingering and Canyon is Sport weight.

Finished measurements are 11 inches wide and 120 inches long - yes, it is very long. A great length to wrap several times around the neck or shoulders. Alternately, one more repeat of the pattern stitch could be added and the length shortened. Another option: knit fewer sections of each yarn until you have the length you desire.

The stole is knitted in two sections then joined together in either three needle bind off or kitchener stitch.
