This light-weight cardigan is the perfect extra layer when you need just a bit of warmth in the evenings or on cool spring days. The vertical eyelet rows and longer ribbing at the hip pulls the eye vertically, enhancing the slimming effect of the design. Knitted in one piece, the work progresses from the bottom ribbing to the armhole, where the back and fronts are divided and worked separately to the shoulders.

The pattern is detailed enough for the advanced beginner to feel confident in trying something new, and with enough of a challenge for the intermediate and advanced knitter to enjoy the journey.
