Inspired by the scarf the character Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) wore in the film version (first film) of ‘Sex in the City’.

That scarf was pinkish-red, had a repeating cable style pattern and was very long with the famous Chanel logo embroidered at one end.

This is my own interpretation of that scarf.

Details:
The cable style pattern is achieved by twisting stitches rather than cabling them. The scarf is worked in stocking stitch with a rib border at either end. The long edges of the scarf will therefore naturally roll under.

Measurements:
The finished scarf measures 30cm/12 inches wide by 180cms/71 inches long (adjustable).
