PATTERN NOTES
Are you someone who worries about being cold, even in the height of summer? Do you compulsively stash something cozy in your bag, your car, and your office? Would you rather face a yarn hoarding dragon than contemplate the bone chilling reality of an airplane ride without a sweater?

If so then, hi, me too! And also: let me introduce you to the Carry-on Cardigan.

Carry-on is your perfect just-in-case travel companion. It’s lightweight (i.e., it can be stuffed into any bag or purse), cozy, and the lace hem makes it suitable for virtually any place life might take you. You’ll be comfortably protected from chills and look fabulous while doing it.

This cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down. The back and sleeves are cast on first and the body and neckline are formed by raglan shaping. The body is worked flat and the sleeves are worked in the round from the underarm to the cuff. The front is open, with a thin ribbed edge to prevent rolling.
