The Carusel sweater is sized for a small dog such as a chihuahua.
Check the size chart first and measure your dog.

The pattern is written for a female dog, but it includes tips for modifying the sweater for a male dog.

The sweater is worked using the Magic Loop technique and started from the neck.

The stripes are easy to knit and are inspired by the little swing seats of a carousel.
They are created over two rounds, worked on both the right and wrong sides of the fabric.

The pattern includes an option for the hem that uses double stitches, creating a beautifully rounded edge for the ribbing.
