The Cascades Beanie is a hat full of textures, just like the Mountian range that inspired me to create it.
This hat is not worked using gauge, it is not dependant on a certain number of stitches, rather make the band to the appropriate size desired, child to adult. This makes it extremely flexible and easy to make.
It’s a repeating and alternating pattern that is quick and easy to work up and gives a wonderful shape and texture.
I prefer Caron X Pantone yarn for this pattern, but any bulky weight yarn will do.
You will need approximately 1 and a half skiens to complete this pattern.
