This stylish child’s top is a fun and quick knit. It is knit from the bottom up and the front and back are knit separately. Ruffles are knit on separate needles and then combined to the main body with a 3-needle joining technique that is described in the pattern.

The pattern is suitable for advanced beginners and up. The continental (long-tail) cast on is recommended, though not necessary.
