A quick and satisfying knit to show off your hand-painted yarns. This v-shaped scarf uses elongated openwork, where stitches are elongated and then crossed over each other. This is a technique very similar to cabling, with a stunning lacy effect. Any hand-painted 4 ply yarn should be suitable. Note that Hedgehog Fibres pure cashmere lace is listed as 2 ply in Ravelry, but knits up more like a 4 ply. If you want to substitute with a 2 ply you will have to increase the stitch numbers to get to a similar width.

If you are using Hedgehog Fibres pure cashmere lace, you should be able to knit two scarves out of one skein, and potentially have enough over for the fringes.

This is my first ever uploaded pattern and has been test-knitted only once, ie by me. Let me know if you have any issues.

The actual pdf is designed for minimum printing. If you must print the pattern, you only need page 2 for the actual knitting instructions.
