The Caspian Top is the perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and adaptability, making it a must-have for warm-weather days. Designed as a made-to-measure piece, this pattern allows you to tailor the fit to your own body, ensuring the perfect shape and coverage. The construction begins with two cups, which are then seamlessly attached to the textured body, featuring the gentle almond stitch pattern. The final touch is a crab stitch border, adding both durability and a polished finish. Inspired by the calm, rhythmic movement of water, this top is as effortless to wear as it is to make. Whether you prefer a cropped fit or a longer, flowing silhouette, the Caspian Top is designed to be uniquely yours.

Yarn Requirements
To complete this project, you’ll need approximately 100 to 350 grams of category 2 yarn. The exact amount may vary depending on your chosen size and any adjustments you make. I recommend you use a natural and lightweight fiber, such as cotton or bamboo. Also check out the final page to see how much yarn the pattern testers used.

Ex. I made a Size M (bra size 75B) and used 150 grams of cotton yarn.

Yarn recommendation:
Gründl Cotton Quick
Premier Yarns Premier Afternoon Cotton
Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton DK
King Cole Cottonsmooth DK

In addition to the yarn, you’ll need a crochet hook appropriate for the yarn of your choice (ex. 3.5mm), measuring tape, a needle and optional: beads and ribbon.

Skill Level
This pattern is suitable for crocheters with intermediate skills or adventurous beginners, as it requires the crocheter to be able to measure and use some basic math.

Stitches that are being used are: ch (chain), ss (slip stitch), sc (single crochet), hdc (half double crochet), rsc (crab stitch or reverse single crochet).
