This is a toe cover for people in leg casts. The pattern uses a dense slipped-stitch rib to really cling to the cast and to the toes. It’ll keep you warm!

I used Louet Gems because I had it around, but any worsted yarn would do. This is an easily customizable pattern, and it’s a great way to burn up partial balls of yarn.
