Castle Chess Set
This is an adaptation of my tabletop chess set. The color of the pieces was picked by my coworker. The chessboard is designed to look like a three-dimensional castle. The drawbridge opens so that the pieces can be stored inside of the castle. The size of the squares on the chessboard is based on the base of the kings and queens. The pieces have different sized bases. The base colors for the pieces are white and black with a touch of color on them. The chessboard squares can be done in any color combination.
The wooden circles are glued to the bottom of the pieces to give them more stability while on the board. The foam board is inserted in the walls of the Castle border. I also glued a piece of foam board to the bottom of the BOARD.
