09/08/2015:
I have completely revamped the pattern and quite a bit of the design. As a result of both that and the work that manually sending the pattern has become (lots of you request it, which is awesome, but it’s hard to keep up!), I have opted to charge for it. Promise it’s worth it!

02/01/2012: It has come to my attention that people are using this pattern to make hats and sell them on Etsy. As a result of that, I will no longer be offering this pattern for free. It makes me sad to do it (I can’t even express just how sad!) since I know so many people used it to make gifts or hats of their own, but it makes me feel even worse to see people taking advantage of me and not even doing the decent thing and giving me credit!

For those who are selling hats made from this pattern: This pattern is protected under Creative Commons and is copyrighted, which means that what you are doing is not only unethical, but illegal. You obviously don’t care, but shame on you anyway. It’s people like you who are what’s wrong with the world.
