“Have fun storming the castle!” is my favorite line from The Princess Bride.

This cowl (as well as the hat and fingerless mitts) was based on my design for Castle Walls Socks. The socks were designed to look like a castle. The cowl has a castle door and a brick pattern for the cowl body, and garter rib at the bottom and top edges.

Castle Walls Socks was chosen to be the March 2018 pattern for the Blue Moon Fiber Arts Rockin’ Sock Club. I used my March Club yarn to knit the hat and the Castle Walls Fingerless Mitts.

Yardage approx. 225 (400) yds.
