This sweet blanket of repeating rows of castle like images will charm any new mother, and is big enough (30”x33”) to be used thru the toddler years. Its presented here in the muted colors of Appalachian Baby Cotton. If your tastes run to more bold colors, you can substitute any variety of colors to get the look you want (see photos).

In addition to changing the colors, the size is also adjustable. Instructions to modify the size are included in the pattern, as well as both written and charted instructions. Approximately 65-70 yards (1 oz) of the cotton yarn was used for each repeat. Total skeins purchased: 3 skeins of grey, 2 skeins each of doe and natural. Colors were changed after the border rows, and after each 16 rows of the pattern rows.
