Pattern is for one cat butt coaster. Additional colors should be used to create different colored cats. The finished coaster measures approximately 3 & 1/2” (9 cm), depending on yarn and how tight your stitches are.

Color A: Red Heart Super Saver “Baby Pink”
Color B: Red Heart Super Saver (your choice of cat fur color)

Gauge is not critical as long as you work the entire set to the same size.

I recommend using Red Heart Super Saver, the Caron equivalent (not Super Soft) or an equally stiff worsted yarn. Many people prefer cotton yarn for coasters, but I have found this acrylic yarn works just fine for this project.

Techniques required for this pattern: Magic circle, color change, single crochet (sc), slip stitch (sl st) and single crochet two together (sc2tog).

Tools required for this pattern: 4.00mm (G) hook, 5.00mm (H) hook, yarn, stitch marker, craft scissors and tapestry needle.
