This is a beginner’s crochet pattern. The downloadable PDF pattern includes instructions to make your own Cat Cozy through crochet.

The instructions include written, detailed instructions, as well as pictures to follow along with.

To make this item, you will need yarn that is 4-weight in 2 colors (I used two tones of gray Red Heart With Love Metallic™), crochet hook size 6.0mm (US J), a tapestry needle, and scissors.

This pattern uses U.S. terms and is written as right-handed. However, the pattern can easily be created left-handed, your results would just be a mirror image of the pictures shown within the pattern.

Finished Project Measurement: about 4.5in (11.5cm) wide and 3in (7.5cm) high when laid flat, approximately 14in (35.5cm) circumference, but it stretches. This will fit most coffee cups up to 24oz.

Customizable: to make the cozy taller/shorter or larger/smaller to fit your hand size and cup size, you can add or remove stitches to the first chain, and add or remove rows to the cozy.
